BERNARD P. KENNEDY

Mr. Kennedy holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism from New York University and obtained his Juris Doctorate from
Fordham University School of Law in 1982. He is a member of the American Bar Association, the New York State Bar Association,
the Nassau County and Suffolk County Bar Associations and the Nassau-Suffolk Trial Lawyers Association.
He is admitted to
practice in the Courts of the State of New York and the Eastern and Southern District of the New York Federal Courts. From 2003
through 2005, Mr. Kennedy taught Civil Litigation courses as an adjunct professor at St. John's University and served as a judge
for the St. John's Moot Court Trial Competition. He is a member of various business and community volunteer associations, formerly
served as Trustee of the Village of Williston Park and as Special Counsel to the Village of Williston Park on labor law matters and
currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Point Lookout Civic Association.
Mr. Kennedy also serves on the Board of Trustees
and Executive Committee of the Family and Children's Association, which provides over 40 full time social programs throughout
Nassau County for families, senior citizens and children in need, having served as Chairman of the organization for three years from
2007-2009. He was formerly a member of the Board of Trustees of the Little Flower Children's Services, which provides foster care
and adoption services to hundreds of New York City's children each year and has also served on its Executive and Finance Committees.
Mr. Kennedy also contributed his time and legal expertise as Chairman of the Committee on Volunteer Lawyers, a standing committee
of the New York State Bar Association which provides legal counseling on a pro bono basis, to residents of drug rehabilitation centers
and to Trial Lawyers Care, Inc., which provided free legal assistance to victims of the September 11th attack.
Prior to founding Kennedy & Gillen in 1989, Mr. Kennedy served as a trial attorney for the firm of Purcell & Ingrao, as a criminal defense
attorney for the Nassau County Legal Aid Society and as an associate at the firm of O'Neill, DiManno & Kelly, a general practice firm
based in New York City, New York.
